Operating under the creative moniker Vikingo Guarani—a nod to my Paraguayan roots and my distinctive look—I am now based permanently in Belgium, working fluently in French, English, and Spanish to connect seamlessly with international athletes, teams, and clients on global assignments.

My journey with a camera began in childhood, but it evolved into a serious, professional pursuit upon moving to Belgium in 2006. Today, alongside my full-time career in IT, I operate as an officially registered freelance photographer (indépendant complémentaire), dedicating my weekends and scheduled time to high-speed sports, dynamic trail running, and exclusive editorial coverage.

The Motorsport & Action Hustle

My entry into sports photography was driven by pure passion and self-determination. I began by independently traveling across Europe to document emerging Paraguayan racing drivers, such as Joshua Duerksen, before they reached the global stage. Operating in the chaotic, high-pressure environment of the pit lane honed my ability to anticipate the action. That same drive now applies to my coverage of grueling endurance trails and cycling pelotons, where adapting to the elements is just as important as the camera in my hand.

Beyond the track, I have years of experience capturing high-stakes editorial and event photography. My portfolio includes discreetly documenting high-level diplomatic functions involving ministers and heads of state for the Paraguayan Embassy in Belgium, as well as capturing the vibrant atmosphere of large-scale regional events like Louvain-la-Plage and Louvain-la-Neige, alongside extensive architectural and real estate work.
