Trail de Godefroy: Dual-Angle Coverage at the
“Tombeau du Géant”
Set against the iconic panorama of the "Tombeau du Géant" in the Semois Valley, this reportage demonstrates how to maximize event coverage across two distinct micro-locations solo. To deliver double the value from a single checkpoint, I operated a handheld remote system connected to a secondary camera placed along the steep stair climb. As athletes passed my main position framed against the majestic river loop, I captured their approach on my primary camera, then seamlessly triggered the secondary setup by hand as they pushed up the stairs. This active, dual-camera workflow captured both expansive landscape portraits and dynamic close-up effort shots of every single runner.
Shot on assignment for Wildness Visual.
